Surprisingly High Demand for Space in the Technology Park in Split The Technology Park Split, one of the city’s most ambitious projects, which is expected to have a long-term impact on the economic structure of the city that heavily relies on tourism, has welcomed its first tenants. The coworking space now hosts its first ten occupants. Initially, they will likely find themselves in a rather empty and vast environment, housed in the impressive and complex building of the Technology Park, located on the site of the former Dračevac barracks. However, this is expected to change quickly, as new colleagues are anticipated to join them in a relatively short time, starting as early as October. Ultimately, the largest innovation hub in Croatia is expected to house between 1,000 and 1,200 people, according to Goran Batinić, the director of the Split Development Agency – RaST, which has been entrusted with managing the Technology Park Split.
