Data from the CBS show that in September, the volume of works performed on buildings was 8.1 percent higher than in September 2021, and on other buildings it was 2.4 percent lower.
Compared to August of this year, the volume of construction works on buildings increased by 3.1 percent, while on other buildings it fell by 0.5 percent.
In September, 63 percent of working hours on construction sites were spent on new construction, and 37 percent on reconstructions, repairs and maintenance.
52 percent of working hours were done on buildings, and 48 percent on other buildings.
Statistics according to the original indexes show that in the first nine months of this year, the volume of construction works increased by 3.9 percent compared to the first nine months of 2021.
At the same time, the volume of works performed on buildings was higher by 5.4 percent compared to the period from January to September 2021, and on other buildings by 1.5 percent.
