The City of Sisak has invited small entrepreneurs, freelancers, and individuals seeking a flexible work environment to take advantage of a new coworking space at Sisak HUB. This space offers modern office and presentation facilities with the fastest internet connection, catering to those who need occasional office space.
With the most affordable usage rates in Croatia, Sisak is positioning itself on the global map of similar spaces designed to support the development of startups and small and micro businesses.
"Sisak HUB is an example of how we are expanding on a successful idea," said Mayor Kristina Ikić Baniček, referring to the CIKS - Creative Industry Center Sisak entrepreneurial incubator.
"CIKS currently hosts 19 entrepreneurs and has no available space left. I am very pleased that HUB now offers a workspace for a completely new and modern entrepreneurial scene in Sisak, following global trends. It will also be open to digital nomads and anyone wishing to do business in Sisak."
Through the renovation of a historically and architecturally significant building at Tomislavova 40, the City of Sisak has restored its former prestigious appearance. However, inside, the space is fully modernized and adapted to contemporary business needs.
"We emphasized that renovation should not be a return to the old but the creation of new value and urban spaces in public buildings, and we are achieving this. In addition to HUB, we will also gain a Planetarium in the former Munjara building, and we have opened a new library in the former bank building," the mayor added.
The grand opening of Sisak HUB, a new business support space, is scheduled for February 20.
