The $5 billion skyscraper will be the centerpiece of the North Pole development in Riyadh. The project is envisioned as a new economic hub and is described as a "city of the future." It will cover 306 square kilometers, featuring residential, commercial, and industrial zones.

The futuristic city will include flying taxis, autonomous vehicles, and a cutting-edge metro system.

At the heart of it all will be Rise Tower, set to become a global business and tourist attraction and a landmark of Riyadh.

Breaking Records

The tower was designed by Foster + Partners, a renowned architectural firm based in London. It is not expected to be completed before 2060.

Once finished, Rise will surpass the current tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa in Dubai (830 meters), and the planned Jeddah Tower, also in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Public Investment Fund has invited international construction firms to submit proposals for managing the project.

The skyscraper will include luxury hotels, entertainment venues, restaurants, offices, and residential units.
